Here are three tried-and-true tips to help you choose a paint color that complements your wallpaper beautifully:

1. Steal a Shade from the Print

One of the easiest ways to create a cohesive look is to borrow a color directly from your wallpaper. Whether it's the background hue or a subtle accent in the pattern, look for the color that catches your eye and go with it.

TIP: Got a wallpaper with a whispery sage green? Echo that same tone on the surrounding walls for a soft, seamless, high-style vibe.

2. Decide: Drama or Harmony?

Do you want a bold statement or a calming flow? If drama is your jam, go for contrast. A moody wallpaper with crisp white walls? Instant drama. But if you're after a serene feel and look, stick with a coordinating tone from the paper—maybe a muted blue from a floral design or a blush from a modern toile.
